Terms of service.
Last Updated: January 02, 2025
Welcome to STORA—our all-in-one creative stack for storytellers. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline your rights and responsibilities when using STORA, a product owned and operated by Get It Made, Inc. ("STORA", "we", "us", or "our").
These Terms govern your access to and use of the STORA website, web app, mobile app, and any related services, features, tools, or content (collectively, the “STORA Platform”).
By accessing or using STORA, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Platform.
1. WHO CAN USE STORA
You must be 18 or older (or have parental/guardian consent if you’re 13–17) to use STORA. By using STORA, you confirm that:
You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
You’re not using STORA for any illegal, malicious, or unauthorized purposes
You’re not accessing STORA on behalf of a competitor or to reverse-engineer, replicate, or extract proprietary methods
2. USER ACCOUNTS
You’ll need to create a STORA account to use the Platform. You agree to:
Keep your login secure
Provide accurate information
Not impersonate anyone else
Not share your account without permission
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
3. PAYMENTS & REFUND POLICY
STORA offers both one-time purchases (such as consultations) and recurring subscription services.
All payments are final and non-refundable, including subscription fees.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You may cancel anytime via your account settings to prevent future charges, but no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
Consultations may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Missed sessions without notice are forfeited.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing, features, or access at any time. Continued use of STORA after such changes constitutes acceptance.
4. YOUR SUBMITTED INFORMATION
You retain ownership of all original materials you upload or generate on STORA—including but not limited to scripts, synopses, decks, lookbooks, visuals, and other creative work (“Submitted Information”).
By using the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process your Submitted Information solely for the purpose of delivering platform services to you. We do not claim ownership of your IP, nor do we sell, license, or exploit your materials outside the context of the STORA Platform without your consent.
You agree not to upload or generate material that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise violates the rights of others or applicable law. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
STORA, including all code, design, branding, and proprietary content, is the exclusive property of Get It Made, Inc. You may not copy, replicate, adapt, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform for commercial use.
You may not build, contribute to, or advise on any competing product or service that mimics the systems, tools, workflows, or features of STORA for a period of two (2) years following your last use of the platform.
6. OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS; RESTRICTIONS
Unless otherwise indicated, all content, software, branding, visual design, copy, architecture, tools, and functionality on the STORA platform—including the layout, user experience, and AI-assisted workflows—are owned by Get It Made, Inc. or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use STORA for your own personal or internal business use. You may not:
Reproduce, modify, distribute, mirror, or republish any part of STORA
Decompile, reverse engineer, or extract source code
Use STORA for the development of competing services, products, or platforms
License, sell, rent, or commercially exploit any part of STORA’s proprietary systems without written permission
You may download or export your own creative materials (scripts, decks, visuals) generated or uploaded by you. However, you may not extract or duplicate templates, UI/UX flows, internal tool structures, or proprietary methods used within STORA.
If you previously used STORA or worked with Get It Made, Inc., you agree that for a period of two (2) years following the end of your access, you will not create or assist in the creation of a platform, application, or business that replicates or materially adapts STORA’s proprietary systems, features, or creative workflows.
Unauthorized use of STORA’s intellectual property may result in legal action, including injunction, damages, and any applicable criminal penalties.
7. NON-SOLICITATION AND PLATFORM CIRCUMVENTION
For so long as you are a user of STORA—and for a period of two (2) years after your access ends—you agree not to solicit, initiate, facilitate, or engage in any professional relationship or collaboration with an Industry Professional or other user introduced to you through STORA or through associated services provided by Get It Made, Inc., without our prior written involvement or consent.
This includes, but is not limited to, partnerships, creative deals, paid development, productions, or service agreements that would otherwise fall within the typical scope of business conducted by STORA or GET IT MADE (e.g., script development, film packaging, proof-of-concept production, or content financing).
An “Industry Professional or other user” includes any STORA contributor, producer, reviewer, mentor, consultant, or peer user whom you interacted with directly or were introduced to via the platform or its affiliated community.
You agree that any such collaboration must involve meaningful participation or acknowledgment of STORA’s role and must occur on no less favorable terms than those offered through the platform or its standard service offerings.
You also agree not to engage in scraping, data mining, or any method of harvesting contact information from the platform with the intent to bypass STORA or GET IT MADE and directly solicit professionals, creatives, or partners made accessible through our services.
Violation of this provision may result in permanent account suspension, removal of access to materials, and potential legal action.
8. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
You may not use STORA for any unlawful, abusive, or exploitative activity. This includes but is not limited to:
Uploading or generating obscene, defamatory, or infringing content
Reverse-engineering, copying, or duplicating STORA features or tools
Using bots, scrapers, or automated systems
Circumventing access, subscription, or payment requirements
Soliciting other users for external or competitive purposes
Impersonating any person or entity
Interfering with the operation or security of the platform
Using the platform to build or inform a competing service
Violating these rules may result in the removal of content, account suspension, or permanent ban—without refund.
9. AI-GENERATED CONTENT
STORA uses AI-powered tools to assist you in creating synopses, visual assets, and other creative materials. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and finalizing any AI-generated content before use or distribution.
You agree not to misuse AI tools to generate content that is harmful, discriminatory, or violates intellectual property law.
10. GUIDELINES FOR REVIEWS
STORA may allow users to leave public or internal reviews of tools, sessions, consultations, collaborators, or platform experiences. To maintain the integrity of our creative community, you agree that:
Reviews must reflect genuine, firsthand experiences.
You will not post false, misleading, defamatory, or retaliatory content.
You will not use reviews to pressure, threaten, or coerce other users, Industry Professionals, or the STORA team.
You will not impersonate another individual or leave a review on someone else's behalf.
You will not include confidential or private information about another user without their consent.
Reviews cannot be used for promotion, advertising, or solicitation.
We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or restrict reviews that violate these guidelines or damage the integrity of our platform. Repeated abuse may result in account suspension or termination.
By submitting a review, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, publish, and display your review (with or without attribution) in connection with STORA marketing, product development, and community communications.
11. PRIVACY POLICY
Your use of STORA is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you agree to our data handling practices. STORA is operated in the United States, and international users acknowledge their data may be processed under U.S. law.
12. MODIFICATIONS & SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS
We may update STORA, its features, or these Terms at any time. We’ll notify users of material changes and update the "Last Updated" date. You are responsible for staying informed.
We are not liable for service interruptions, outages, or data loss caused by maintenance, system errors, or circumstances beyond our control.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
STORA is provided “as is.” We make no guarantees about accuracy, reliability, or suitability for your intended use.
We are not liable for:
Any indirect or incidental damages
Loss of content or data
Business interruption or missed opportunity
Platform downtime or technical errors
In any case, our total liability will not exceed the amount paid by you in the previous 12 months.
14. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless STORA, its parent company Get It Made, Inc., and all affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or costs arising from:
Your use of the platform
Any content you submit or generate
Your violation of these Terms
15. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
All disputes shall first be subject to 30 days of informal negotiation.
If unresolved, all legal claims must be filed in Los Angeles County, California, under the laws of the State of Delaware.
16. TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for misuse of the platform. Upon termination, you lose access to any purchased features or saved projects without refund.
